Interest rates, rental increases and a hot, dry summer ahead … life can feel pretty tough at times. Heaps Normal’s response comes in the shape of Tough Stuff Shandy and, while the style might be a little old-fashioned, they’ve brought it into 2023 with a campaign looking at what’s making life tough today.
The hybrid contains the alcohol-free brewing company’s flagship Quiet XPA and was made in collaboration with Melbourne’s Yumbo Soda Co who make lemonade with lemon myrtle and Makrut lime leaf. The citrus hits like it’s been turned into a homemade lemonade: a herbal touch meets a zesty tang. Although free of booze, there’s still plenty of beer to be found courtesy of a breadiness, a slight tropical twist and bitterness.
To mark the beer's arrival, Heaps Normal are also giving away what they believe is the toughest car ever made: a 1992 Toyota Camry Executive. It can be yours for $52,999.99, or you can buy some Tough Stuff for the chance to win it.
