On paper, Heaps Normal and Who Gives A Crap look to have very little in common. But while one alcohol-free beer and the other toilet paper, creating chance has always been at the centre of what they do, with one aiming to create conversations around alcohol and the other raising vital finds to build toilets by making more environmentally-friendly loo roll.
So, while it might be a first, a brewery toilet paper collab seems pretty natural and saw the two businesses come together to create Cheeky IPA. Fifty percent of the profits from the beer's sales will be going to help not-for-profits build toilets while a further $1.50 per can is going to one of Who Gives A Crap’s long-term partners, WaterAid. As for the non-alc IPA inside, while it might be boozeless, it carries a classic West Coast mix of pine and grapefruit while a slight tropical layer pokes its head through and is met by a lasting bitterness.
