Coolum Beer Co Common Draught

It feels almost unhelpful to write about this beer, since it’s designed to not draw attention to itself; it’s meant to be an accompaniment to good times rather than the main attraction.

Not that Coolum Common is invisible – it has a nice body to it, and pleasing malt notes along with some classic hop spice – but it keeps the malt and hop character low to make it super drinkable. This is a beer whose main job is to be cold, refreshing, and easy to sink – and it does it damn well.

Equally suited to post-work drinks in the beer garden when it’s the first time you’ve sat down since lunch, and a cruisy Saturday arvo when you’ve done nothing all day and don’t plan to do anything for the rest of the day, either. A real "working hard, or hardly working?" kind of beer.
