Coolum Beer Co Banter Best Bitter

Best Bitter is another style that you don’t see much of in Australia, and even less of on the Sunny Coast – a bit of a theme among the Coolum Beer limited releases.

Banter pours an attractive coppery red, making it hard to look past. For a fairly low alcohol beer, it boasts plenty of malt character on the nose and in the mouth: there’s toffee, there’s sweet biscuit, there’s chocolate, there’s roast. Granted, they’re mild flavours (as they should be), but they all shine through.
