Hepburn Springs Brewing Co Irish Red

Did we mention Nick Galik likes to brew rarely-seen-in-Oz European beer styles? Pretty sure we did, and here's another in the shape of a lusciously malty Irish red.

As much amber in colour as deep red, it's as soft and full on the palate as you’d expect of a beer close to 7 percent in alcohol content. Toffee and sweet biscuit characters dominate, while Centennial and Amarillo are background players adding just a touch of bitterness and a beer that's almost too easy-drinking for its heft.
