Bright Brewery & Friends Frostfire

What kind of beer do you expect to get when Bright Brewery, One Drop, CoConspirators and Sobremesa come together? Surely if you pay close attention to any of the breweries you immediately go “Australian Strong Ale Aged On Oak And Chilli”. OK, so maybe it’s not quite the style you’d expect - and apparently was a surprise to some working the breweries involved too - but when four brewers get together, you never know what you’re going to get.

Brewed as part of Bright's Darker Days festival, the beer features the High Country’s own Ella and Enigma hops that together, bring dank and tropical aromas to a deep orange beer with caramel sweetness. Joining in is vanilla and a bite from both bitterness and some heat that all makes Frostfire is a wonderful reminder that dark beers don’t have a monopoly on winter.
