To celebrate turning two, Good Land Brewing once again held a birthday extravaganza in Good Days, with the brewery transforming their Traralgon home into a tropical tiki paradise. Fresh from that festive occasion, they’ve also released some tropical-friendly beers to the wider world (alongside some darker birthday treats we’ll be writing about soon).
Choice Bro is a hazy pale made with a trio of Kiwi hops in Superdelic, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. The fluffy and soft mouthfeel proves an excellent base in to enjoy those hops which together, really capture what makes those little green flower from across The Ditch so appealing thanks to a harmonious blend of orange lollies, lime and white grapes with further lashings of tropical fruit.
Also fresh and hoppy from Good Land is Paradisio, a West Coast IPA with a big, bold and biscuity malt backbone. The hops meanwhile bring grapefruit rind, Turkish delight and berry that all lead into a balanced, dry and bitter finish.
If you missed Good Days in Gippsland then fear not, the brewery is bringing the celebration to Carywn Cellars on August 12, with details here.
