To certain elder people in the community, the youth of today represent nothing but a bleak glimpse into a terrible future. But the kids are, actually, alright and proving the point is the Tasmanian Microbrew Festival which is being run by the students of TasTAFE.
On September 26 they're pulling a bunch of local producers together with the idea of giving them a platform to showcase their fine wares to a bit of a different crowd. That'll involve good, food live entertainment and beer and cider from the likes of...

It's all happening at Princes Wharf 1 between 12pm and 5pm and entry is by gold coin donation.
