Throughout September the phrase atop the managerial to-do list at Newtown’s Union Hotel has been: “Hunt for Red October”.
They’ve been long planning a big event celebrating blood, fire, love and lust by pouring as many red beers as they could get their hands on. Thus, on Friday October 7 they’ll be pouring 15 red IPAs, American red ales, amber ales and anything else that sits in the spectrum from vermilion to maroon.
