It may officially be over in Munich, but Oktoberfest is merely warming up for the folks at Forester's Hall.
Their slightly belated tribute to all things German and beery will take place on October 8 and, to help them turn their venue into something resembling a traditional beer tent, they've teamed up with a couple of German-themed businesses in the form of Hofbrauhaus Melbourne and The Hof Downtown Bavarian Bier Hall und Cafe
What you can expect is plenty of live music throughout the day, Bavarian food and a substantial selection of appropriate beers on tap. These will be either German or locally-brewed interpretations of German styles, some of which you'll be able to explore during a free tasting and masterclass.
It kicks off at midday and will go until the wee small hours. Entry is free.
