Hobart BeerFest 2017

Having cut their teeth with festivals in Launceston, Fremantle and Melbourne, the BeerFest is adding Hobart to its roster for the first time in 2017.

The event takes to the city's waterfront on January 27 and 28, the week after the Esk BeerFest and thus bookending Beer Lovers Week.

You'll find stalls pouring more than 200 of the season's top picks, collaborative brews and crafty cocktails, complimented by an international selection of Tassie's finest local street food.

Among the drinks will be a full range from the producers found on the Tasmanian Beer and Cider Trail plus a massive variety of national and international icons making the journey across the Bass Strait especially for the festival.

Hobart BeerFest will host three stages of live entertainment all weekend including:

Stage 1: Live Music from The Beautiful Girls Friday and Kid Kenobi & The Daft Punk Tribute on Saturday

Stage 2: The Fresh Comedy stage headlined by Dave O'Neil and Chris Franklin, plus the very best of local comedians, hosted by Stewart Bell.

Stage 3: Beer & food matching, masterclasses and brewer forums.
