Over the past few months, The Terminus has hosted a series of occasional showdowns whereby ten different Victorian brewers will come in, take over the beer garden and fight it out (in a friendly sort of way) to determine the state’s best producer of different styles, anything from lager to IPA.
The next showdown is slightly different, and with a different reward.
It will still feature ten Victorian brewers, but there is no style guideline. For the breweries it is just a case of bringing the beers they think will win over the drinkers, be it a new release, an unusual style or something from the cellar.
The reward for beating out all others on the day is a place as a Victorian representative at The Terminus’ Good Beer Week event: VIC versus The World.
Breweries featuring will be:
- 3 Ravens
- Bad Shepherd
- Boatrocker
- Bridge Road
- Hawkers Beer
- Moon Dog
- Mornington Peninsula
- Temple
- Two Birds
- Wolf of the Willows
As well as the beer there’ll be plenty of food specials all day, a heap of prizes to be given away and a DJ spinning into the evening.
You can book a ticket in advance here which gets you a taste of all the beers, your crucial voting form and entry to the prize draws.
