Craft beer drinkers seem to love two things above all others: (1) hoppy beers and, (2) brand new beers. So, to host an event where ten brand new hoppy beers are launched is probably going to get a few people interested.
If you happen to be one of those people, you'll want to be at Beer DeLuxe in Fed Square on March 25 as they lay down a challenge to ten local brewers: make the best new hop forward beer possible.
Stepping up to the plate will be the following:

- Modus Operandi
- KAIJU!
- Mornington Peninsula
- Hop Nation
- Exit Brewing
- Wolf of the Willows
- 4 Pines
- Feral
As for the actual style, the brief has been left wide open – provided it's an "India" centric beer. So all West Coast IPAs, Session IPAs, Grapefruit IPAs, India Saisons and anything else that ticks the hoppy box will be considered.
In the end it'll be the drinkers choosing the winner, so get along for a taste and a vote – the pick of the bunch will remain on tap for a month (or until it runs out).
