In terms of breweries to be at this Easter, there can be few more appropriate to hop along to than White Rabbit.
And the busy bunnies have been brewing up something special for the occasion in the form of a limited edition chocolate stout that's been aged in oak barrels, with brandy-soaked staves, caramelised with Pana Chocolate, then back blended.
The rather lush sounding beer will be pouring at a little event they're calling Easter Down the Rabbit Hole. You'll get to enjoy the company of brewer Jeremy Halse and Pana Chocolate's Pana Barbounis as they guide you through the worlds of chocolate and beer, including various pairings, such as..
- White Ale with Pineapple and Ginger
- Red ale with sour cherry and vanilla chocolate
- Dark ale with fig and wild orange chocolate
- Pale ale with coconut and goji chocolate
You'll also be bestowed a chalice of the new choc stout to imbibe as they serve up canapes.
If you're keen for an evening of light indulgence, tickets are $35 and can be booked here.
It kicks off at 6pm on Thursday April 13.
