The label of this beer shows a weirdly accurate illustration of a person’s face being blown back, inspired by Tadao Cern's photo project "Blow Job" (don’t worry – it’s just a play on words, and is indeed safe for work).* I recommend you skip the photos and go straight to the slow motion footage of the photoshoot. So much visible gum. So much flapping face meat. So offputting, yet so mesmerising.
I guess the idea of the beer name is that you’ll be blown away by aroma of the Aussie, NZ and US hops: Happy Valley talk about the guava, passionfruit, papaya, and lychee, but I got a face full of stonefruit pong and orange zest.
It’s soft in the mouth with light bitterness, and dry enough to have you flapping your face meat for more.
