Bonehead Brewing celebrated turning six recently and naturally, they marked the occassion like any six-year old should: with an extra helping of juice. Specifically, that juice was blood orange, with the brewery introducing that citrus to an IPA to create The Big Squeezy.
Fill your glass and you'll find no pulp but plenty by way of zest and a lasting layer of fresh and sweet orange juice. As an IPA, it's very much in the classic category with plenty of pine joining that citrus and a lasting bitterness carrying through as you enjoy the joys of juice. Or, better yet, serve it with a sazerac like Bonehead asked their mate, the cocktail craftsman Tom Warren, to make for their birthday. Now that’s feels more like a brewery birthday!
