Hops come in many shapes and sizes and Bridge Road Brewers are serving them across two quite different releases. Spectrum Hazy is a pale ale that makes full use of the liquid product of the same name that that comes courtesy of Hop Products Australia and is particularly useful for dry hopping. Here, they've used that Spectrum across three different varieties - Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic - to make a soft beer with next to no bitterness and a wonderful array of citrus, orange candy, passionfruit and mango.
Alongside it is another entry in the breweries ongoing exploration of all things IPA with the latest a Double West Coast. It's a beer that's taken the brewers on a journey to America's Pacific northwest where they've loaded the 8.3 percent ABV beer with CTZ, Magnum, Cascade, Centennial, Citra and Mosaic. It's a combination that brings pine, nectarine, ripe berry bergamot and and a biting bitterness.
