Hop Nation X Bright Brewery Cream & Cookies

For Darker Days 2024, Hop Nation headed up the Hume for a sunny day and blisteringly cold night spent celebrating beer, good times and tunes. But they didn’t do it alone, bringing with them a collaboration made with their hosts at Bright Brewery by the name of Cream & Cookies.

Unsurprisingly, it's a fittingly rich beer for the darkest days of the year and provides rich vanilla alongisde further sweetness (not to mention quite a bit of smoothness) courtesy of lactose. There's plenty of dark chocolate and sweet biscuit notes too which brings the beer in line with the Oreo-like treat on the tin to ensure that fundamentally, it feels like the kind of beer that would be a fitting replacement for a roasted marshmellow by the fire. Having said that, you could do worse than dropping one in your glass...
