Broulee Brewhouse Hazy

While Broulee Brewhouse's XPA brings the haze in abundance, they also have a dedicated hazy pale in the year-round lineup too. Named simply Hazy (they like to keep things simple on this front), it comes adorned with a cycling black cockatoo and a not-inconsiderable ABV of 5.6 percent.

Pouring a yellow gold with the whitest of heads, it's lighter and more citrus / passionfruit forward than its hazy stablemate, albeit still with some of that candied sweetness. Despite the heftier booze content, it's pretty lean with a sprightly, lifted hop character, while remaining soft of texture and clean of finish.
