Broulee Brewhouse Pale Ale

If the can design for Broulee Brewhouse's Pale Ale is anything to go by, the team see this as their go-to post-surf beer (although I'd argue that pretty much the entirety of their core range would suit just such a setting).

Neither clear nor hazy but somewhere in between, the copper hue hints at the fluffy, biscuity malt base the brewers have set down in a beer with a more even balance between hops and malt than in more hop-leaning beers such as the XPA, IPA and Hazy.

Easier drinking than 5.4 percent ABV might suggest, Pale Ale packs a cleansing finish, restrained bitterness, and fruits of a citrusy ilk.
