Bright Tank’s limited release program continues apace with hip hop and science fiction related pop culture references seemingly the only anchor. Presumably, Wu Tang Clan playing Comic-Con would be the team's dream release party or, in this beer's case, Smeg and the Heads, given the allusion to cult British TV show Red Dwarf.
Pouring a dark amber/rust colour, grapefruit and lime are prominent with the malt bill supplying caramel, melonidian characters and some toast. Near 8 percent ABV booze provides weight, bitterness balances rather than dominates and the whole tribute probably deserves a curry pairing, something Lister would likely be angling for rather than just another chicken soup.
