Such has been the speed with which 2020 has piled challenge upon challenge onto the world, it can be easy to forget it's only weeks ago that communities across Australia were fighting and dealing with the catastrophic fires sweeping much of the country. Not only have Bridge Road Brewers not forgotten, they're eager to give something back to the firefighters who helped tackle the threat to the Victorian High Country, even as they deal with the COVID-19 crisis on top of losing their busy summer tourism period to the fires.
Assisted by Cospak and Orora, Proficient Packaging, Networkpak, Multi-Color Corporation, Border Express and Warren Taylor, all of whom donated their products and services for free, they've created Beer Aid through which they hope to donate $20,000 to the CFA Public Fund. Inside, it's their perennially popular Beechworth Pale, on the outside it's the bold red, white and yellow of the CFA. You can pick it up at Victorian and border region Dan Murphy's and BWS stores with both chains donating profits from sales.
