Get Together is one of the tamer limited releases Lost Palms have brought out in some time: a hazy pale designed for easy drinking with mellow juiciness. The translucent pour has the same effect as peeling open a tin of crushed pineapple, filling the air with that sweet smell as well as a waft of citrus. These fruits make their way into the mouth with low carbonation to give you that satisfied smile, then Get Together's mellow grain flavour and light bitterness show up in the finish to keep it real and have you reaching for a second.
For those who like their IPAs smooth and creamy, Lost Palms have revisited one of the fan favourites of last year: ****Blue Skies Oat Cream IPA. (The first iteration of Blue Skies made its way into our end of year list for 2022, if that’s anything to go by.) While last year’s was a strong hit of citrus, this version has a new hop bill, with Galaxy, El Dorado and Mosaic pushing this beer straight into pungent tropical fruit territory.
A little passionfruit sprinkled over a bowl of mango with a dollop of custard makes this dessert in a can,* with low bitterness and a restrained sweetness keeping things smooth on the palate. Nothing but blue skies from now on.

*I’m using poetic licence. Don’t expect this beer to enter pastry beer territory.
