Brewed as a homage to Australia's left coast and everything that makes it great, Shelter’s late winter limited release is an IPA made for crushing, with a clean profile and punchy, bright hops that leave you wanting more, while being refreshing and repeatable.
Pouring crystal clear with a lacy, white head, this is an IPA bucking the trends: clear, no juice, and an almost sessionable ABV. Citrus, pine and stone fruit notes – white peach, nectarine – combine while remaining distinct, carried on a medium body against mild hop bitterness. Left Coast finishes clean with just a touch of pine residue, comfortably inviting you to revisit after each sip.
Canned, limited releases only occasionally appear from the Shelter brewery on Busselton's foreshore given their focus on their solid core range, but Left Coast shows that when Shelter’s brewers have the freedom to create something else their efforts are worth the wait.
