Land & Sea have reworked their core range midstrength, previously called The Socializer. This straightforward easy drinker is still designed to keep things social, but now it’s called Middy. How much more straightforward can you get?
The refreshed hop bill features Australian-grown Cascade hops, and in case that isn’t Aussie enough for ya, it’s paired with Galaxy for that tropical personality familiar from Australian pale ales.
There’s nothing too in-your-face here. Middy pours a pale straw and is lovely and bright, looking just like a lager and going down just as easily with a soft bitterness and a dry finish. But those hops do like to flirt with a wink of citrus and tropical notes to go with a gentle underlay of malty grain.
