The Gipps St Pale was the first beer bearing the Stomping Ground name to be seen with something approaching regularity around Melbourne. Initially brewed at another brewery while they built their own, it's the brewery's take on the popular American pale ale style.
Loaded with New World hops, it delivers tropical and citrusy hop flavours and aromas atop a base of supporting caramel malts, all balanced to ensure it sits comfortably in their "Easy Drinking" category on the menu.
Since launch, it's become their flagship beer, refined to gold medal-winning standard, was the beer at the heart of their successful efforts to sell 1,000 kegs and raise $75,000 for Movember in 2017 and also become their first beer into cans. All of which means, you'll be seeing a lot more of it outside the brewery's home stomping ground.
