Beerland have taken flight with this autumnal limited release. Bloody Baron pays tribute to the German WWI pilot commonly known as the Red Baron and takes you on a flying circus of flavours and aromas. The malt arsenal comprises of Trade Ale, Carared, Melanoidin and Choc, which come together to deliver the dark blood red colour. The trio of Galaxy, Citra and Vic Secret hops create a fiery bitterness with citrus and grapefruit in the cross hairs.
As we transition to cooler weather, this beer prickles the interest with a sweet caramel malt backbone and added oats to create a smooth fullness. Pineapple, melon and grapefruit flavours feature, however the main pursuit is the toasty raisin and slightly spicy malt body.
Take flight before this all-red fokker falls from the sky.
