From can design to malt profile, there's much of the American classic at the heart of Mountain Goat's Rare Breed, Rocky. I mean, if you own a log cabin somewhere in the rugged American wilderness and you don't have an oil panting of a majestic-looking goat then what business do you have owning a log cabin?
As for the beer, this West Coast IIPA pours a crystal-clear and golden light amber with soft biscuity malts carrying across the beer's dry and bitter finish. The hops, meanwhile, provide plenty by way of citrus – both zesty grapefruit and something akin to bergamot – while also treating the drinker to a one-two combo of floral and pine.
