When it comes to pale ales, most people are looking for something that strikes that balance between sessionable and flavoursome. Villager's Pale Ale is right in that sweet spot.
The aroma’s rich and sticky, but the flavours it serves up are quite relaxed - mango, citrus and tropical fruit alongside gentle pine. It finishes quite dry, though with that slightly tacky sweetness that has you clacking your tongue as you try to summon back the flavour.
Alas, flavour isn’t so easily summoned - it takes years of memorising scrolls and consorting with spirits to master the dark arts required. Much easier to just grab another Villager’s.
