Common People Helles Hole Lager

It may be a German style of beer made with German hops, but here Common People have made an easy-going lager for the Aussie climate.

Helles Hole shines flaxen yellow and gives off a lemony tang in the aroma. That lemon then softens as it joins a doughy character in the mouth along with a slight lemonade-y note, and it all wraps up with a laidback bitterness.

But at the end of the day, this is the kind of beer where if you overthink it, you’ve missed the point.
