Named after owner Nick Southwell’s son, Otis pours with a lighter hue than is typical for the red IPA style, yet bold citrus and pine soon bring the beer back into more familiar territory.
Caramel maltiness is balanced by a tight, dry finish which feels almost West Coast IPA-leaning, something that's likely to evolve over future batches, as Otis – both boy and beer – matures.
