Fox Friday don’t really have limits on how big they’ll make their hazies but when you’re talking about core range beers, having one around 10 percent ABV feels dangerous for a number of reasons. Instead, Fox Friday’s Hazy IPA comes in at a far more reasonable 6 percent ABV and features El Dorado, Citra and Mosaic hops alongside a selection of haze, body and sweetness enhancing malts.
It pours so thick from the can you’d suspect it had lactose in the mix, but no. Hazy IPA delivers tropical fruit creme aromas, a soft, fluffy texture, and citrus fruit whipped through cream to taste. Bitterness is mild yet there's still a clip to the finish. In other words, it does what a hazy IPA should.
