Australia is a country surrounded by ocean so if you’re going to smuggle anything in, a good way to go about it is the ocean. Sure, we have sharks and Border Force surrounding us but how many counterfeit DVDs do you think slip by each year? Kids in high school used to manage to get dozens in when flying home so it can’t be all that hard. But that’s not to say smuggling is easy and maybe after a long day on the beach collecting copies of Oceans 12, you’re looking for some refreshment to enjoy by the water.
CoConspirator’s The Smuggler might be the right kind of refreshment, with the Mexican-style lager’s combination of corn and pilsner malt making him one nimble character. Although the beer’s largely about being light and crisp, the Amarillo hops bring in a touch of orange and lime but then again, maybe that lime is just the mind suggesting the best way to serve this Cerveza.
