They've always had a way with hops at BentSpoke Brewing, and in 2024, they released a core range member built to use those little green wonders to transport you away. Sure, Canberra might not have a beach, but grab a bucketload of sand, head down to Lake Burley Griffin*, crack open a can of Hazee, and suddenly you might find yourself gazing out onto the Pacific.
The hazy pale ale is filled with tropical tones of passionfruit, guava, and mango, along with touches of peach, tangerine, and a soft layer of coconut. Speaking of which, the beer's about as soft as they come, so while you enjoy its gentleness and lack of bitterness, you might find that by the time you're done, you've drifted away to that beach the brewery's been dreaming about.
