The year is 2014, Tony Abbott is Prime Minister and history’s greatest film, The Lego Movie, has just been released. Just down the road from Tony’s temporary home, Richard Watkins and Tracy Margrain have finally found a moment to brew their first beer and named it after themselves. Since then, the brew that started BentSpoke has returned each year, with Dick Tracy a welcome moment to look back on the past and toast to the future. To celebrate their tenth birthday, BentSpoke have gone a little bigger for 2024's Dick Tracy and canned the beer for the first time. Which brings us to the liquid: an American brown ale serving up rich malts and hops in equal measure. On the flavour front, it’s a blend of pine, orange and grapefruit skin, while the grain serves up subtle chocolate and a rolling roasted profile.
