When it comes to Bodriggy Brewing’s Few Fewies, you just know it’s a name that’s been used a few hundred times at the Melbourne brewery.
“Are you in for a few fewies, buddy?”
“Of course, just a few fewies, thanks.”
Specifically speaking, Few Fewies is a hazy IPA that was brewed in collaboration with NZ Hops to celebrate Nectaron's hefty fruit flavours. Naturally, the chosen beer was a hazy IPA that follows the path of Bodo's earlier Weird Weekeder with the wheat and oat in the malt base providing a fulsome, smooth and lush body.
As for that one hop, there’s certainly plenty delivered by it with sweet pineapple, peach and grapefruit all leaping out of the glass. But while it’s very much a modern IPA, there’s a decent touch of dankness that throws back to a few fewies ago, when West Coasts ruled the roost.
