She Will Be Loved might be one of your most enduring memories from the early 2000s and Moves Like Jagger might take you straight to the start of the last decade but what if I told you that you could have more Maroon? Forget about number 5, Maroon 6 is Bodriggy Brewing’s red IPA ready for autumn.
The Melbourne brewery has a long history of making RIPAs, with their Gongim going back to the days before they had their own brewery (2017 in fact) an returning multiple times since. This new Maroon is something of a spiritual successor and features Willamette, Columbus Cryo and Talus hops while the ruby beer brings a whole lot of caramel and toffee notes. Together, those hops move between grapefruit, resin and a light floral combination that sits somewhere between bergamot and potpourri. As someone who knows nothing about Adam Levine aside from the fact he was in a season of American Horror Story, I feel confident in saying he would enjoy this beer.
