Wow. This beer is a berry bomb, if not what I expected.
What I expected: a hazy purple pour; the tropical fruit aromas and flavours of a NEIPA; sweet blueberry notes padding out the edges.
What I got: a deep gold pour that only hinted at the addition of blueberries; a massive aroma of blueberry yoghurt and Ribena, followed by the taste of raspberry syrup then Fruit of the Forest cordial then light florals then full circle back to berry yoghurt. A subtle bitterness holds its ground, but other than that my brain had a hard time computing that hops (Galaxy, Mosaic & Wai-iti) were the source of some of the flavours I was tasting.
In other words, the berries are strong in this one. But prepare for your senses to experience every kind of berry that exists, rather than just the bloobs† that were actually added to the beer.

† If you haven’t yet discovered the immature joy of referring to blueberries as "bloobs", you’ve got a fun time ahead of you.
