Rocky Ridge have a way with hops, and in this West Coast IPA they’ve enlisted the services of new world neomexicanus hops – as well as collaborators from The Wembley Hotel – to create a crystal clear, sticky, pine-driven beer.
Initially dry, light-bodied and with a moderate bitterness, Pine Time cleanly carries generous earthy hop notes alongside zesty citrus, lemongrass and a familiar dank note. Of course, resinous pine is also a feature in a beer that celebrates everything good about that much-loved hop character; and courtesy of a light, bright uber-clean profile, Pine Time effortlessly blends drinkability with the hearty hopping regime, yielding a beer that does it all.
Over the past few weeks, Rocky Ridge have also released: a rebrew of their popular Strata Smash; Foxypupscott pale ale; Kulin Draught (brewed using 100 percent malted barley from Tolga Farm); Brunhilde oaked festbier; Instant Gratification West Coast IPA; Last Minute oat cream IPA; Manu’s Marzen; and Party Dude fruited pale ale.
