Margaret River Beer Co celebrate all things resinous with a beer they’re describing as a South West Coast IPA. Although there’s no recognised designation for such a style, MRBCo’s brewers have found a way to capture the South West's vibes in an IPA packed with sticky resin and fruit-driven hop character.
Smooth and clean with impeccably-balanced bitterness, River Dog is an IPA made for ease of consumption, just what the doctor ordered when Margaret River’s beaches, mountain bike trails or quiet Sunday sessions start calling. Sweet stone fruits, papaya and grapefruit are all persistent atop a pale base beer where pine and resin are bold contributors to a rich hop profile.
Margaret River Beer Co may have changed their name and image in recent months, but their beers are still the same well put-together efforts punters have come to expect, as demonstrated with the release of River Dog.
