It's not often that you'll see Molly Rose go big with their beers. In fact, just one comes to mind: Interlaced, a West Coast IPA from early 2024, which was cranked up to 8.4 percent. For IPA Day, the Collingwood brewery has followed it up with an 8.0 percent double Red IPA made with Idaho 7, Centennial, Citra, and Motueka hops.
What a tribute it is too, with the malty DIPA providing loads of rich toffee tones and sweetness akin to some fresly-baked cake. Tie that in with loads of peach from the hops, and you've got a cobbler on your hands while that's all joined by pineapple and tangerine that's all balanced out by a lasting bitterness.
