The Reckless team upgraded this single malt and single hop XPA from a small batch to a regular when they realised they couldn’t stop drinking it and it's not surprising given it's the most refreshing in the Reckless range.
It’s bright to the eyes, alluring to the nose and spritzy to the tongue, enlivening the spirit even as you find yourself relaxing like some oversized lizard having a nap in the sun.
The flavour is less complex than the brewing company's pale ale, championing Galaxy hops to drive a lemon squash and Passito vibe that brings back memories of every summer holiday you’ve ever had. A crisp finish whisks everything away in an instant - so much so that you might want to film yourself drinking this, otherwise you’ll soon find yourself with an empty glass and wonder where your beer went.
