Since they burst onto the Australian beer scene in 2018, TWØBAYS Brewing have quite dramatically increased the amount of diversity on offer for any beer drinker looking to avoid gluten. There's been lagers, IPAs, stouts, sours, ESBs, and more - including their World Beer Cup-topping Session Ale.
Then there's the brewery's GFB range that launched in 2021 with Draught and is dedicated to crafting more easy-drinking gluten-free beers for the country's more traditional beer drinkers. The Mornington Peninsula brewery call it Australia's "friendliest beers" and that lineup got even more sociable in 2024 when Aussie Ale joined the party. It's certainly an easy drinker too, with the pale pouring with a golden, light amber hue and providing gentle swirls of dry biscuit, a little richness, limited bitterness and a citrus lift from the hops.
