Given the time at which the beer is being released, The Future Is Bright sits nicely alongside Boatrocker's Life Is Peachy in the pantheon of inappropriately named beers. Although perhaps the power of positive thinking will assist us in getting through the COVID-19 pandemic with minimal damage...
In Moon Dog's case, however, the title is a nod to the impressive collection of solar panels on the roof of Moon Dog World (something we'll be writing a little more on) and their role in powering the brewing of this beer. As for the liquid, The Future Is Bright is a pretty line and length IPA: a clear golden pour, full in mouthfeel, with pineapple leading the way amid a mélange of fruit characters derived from Warrior, Mosaic, Cashmere, Idaho 7 and Azacca hops, and a dry, not overly bitter finish.
