Sure, the nearby eucalyptus and broad Australian accents might be a giveaway but there’s an element of King River Brewing’s home that has an air of the German beer garden about it. Maybe it’s just the garden itself and the way the old trees provide shade. Or maybe, it’s the many German beers you’ll often find being brewed by owner Nathan Munt.

Cliffhanger Hefeweizen is one such beer and the hefe is as classic as they come with a delicate balance between banana and clove esters.
