Urban Alley are ready for summer with quite a lush wave of hops and a dose of tequila thrown in for good measure. First up, Tidal Wave pays tribute to a hop the brewery reckons more of us should pay attention to in Cashmere which is the daughter of Cascade and Northern Brewer and brings with it plenty of bitterness and flavour. Here we get to enjoy both sides of the American hop thanks to an aromatic tide of orange, rockmelon, stonefruit and pine needles with those flavours all crashing against a bitter finish.
Next up is Sagrada, which tips its hat to different life joy, enjoying tequila and lime. The beer was brewed corn in the malt bill to lighten things up and the citrus is present as soon as you crack the can with the tequila making that lime a whole lot broader and deeper while the spirit also brings a subtle savoury side.
