If you’ve been a keen observer of Jervis Bay Brewing, you’ll know about their previous limited release Low Vis Hazy IPA. The popularity of that beer inspired this one, but the JB crew wanted something more sessionable if it was going to live in their regular lineup of beers.
Cue a drop in ABV and a change in hop bill to include more vibrant New Zealand hops, and you’ve got Low Vis Hazy Pale Ale.
It’s juicy. It’s super fruity. It’s like a melted Zooper Dooper (minus the sugar rush). There’s a nice tropical fruit salad going on, spritzed with zesty citrus and retaining a slap of stonefruit from the Nectaron hops, which hung around throughout the transformation.
Better stick on a hi-vis vest. It’s hazy out there.
