The area called Jervis Bay in English is known in the language of the local Koori people as Booderee, which means Bay of Plenty. This is a place that provides in abundance.
The beer bearing its name, Bay of Plenty IPA, provides both malt and hop character in abundance: the deep gold colour and caramel aroma both point to the use of crystal malt, while the citrus zest, sweet resin, and mango show off the Taiheke, Citra, Galaxy and Bru-1 hops. Meanwhile, the bitterness settles in softly towards the end, like the dusky pink clouds that settle over the ocean as you look out from Booderee.
