The King Valley has an Italian history that stretches back to well before the region became known as a wine destination, with the earliest Italian settlers integral to the development of the local tobacco industry. Unfortunately for those migrants, they wouldn't have been able to enjoy King River's Birra when they knocked off after a long day in the field.
The Italian Pilsner is perfect for both a range of Meditereanean meals and some warmer wehther, with the crisp lager providing gentle bready notes and soft touches of spiced and herbal flavours from the hops. Sure, King Valley might be home to Prosecco Road but when you visit the locale, there's ways time for the the Birra Bypass at King River Brewing too.
