As of April 2024, Hobart Brewing discontinued their Extra Pale and replaced it in their lineup with Skipper IPA. The hops as the Extra Pale – an all-Aussie combo of Galaxy, Ella and Vic Secret – with the main stated change being: "The ABV and flavour have both just been turned up."
Despite the origin os said hops, there's quite a traditional American IPA feel to Skipper, the golden liquid serving up light caramel malts, citrus and ripe tropical fruits, plus a piney, earthy and not-insignificant bitterness.
